Edom and Persia Dance: False Peace Overtures Mask Deeper Schemes
The orchestrated 'peace talks' between the United States and Iran are a calculated distraction, a temporary lull before the storm. Yahuah’s covenant people must not be deceived by these superficial gestures, but discern the true motives at play—the consolidation of Edom’s power and the continued oppression of Yisrael. This is not a path to restoration, but a prelude to greater tribulation.
The world witnesses a spectacle of diplomacy as the United States and Iran initiate so-called ‘peace talks,’ a 60-day roadmap to… what, exactly? A sustainable peace? A genuine reconciliation? Such notions are utterly divorced from the prophetic realities unfolding before us. This is a maneuver of Edom, the descendants of Esau who have long held dominion over the nations, seeking to solidify their control over the region and, ultimately, over Yisrael.
Understand this: Yahuah does not work through the political machinations of fallen nations. He does not empower the serpent’s seed to establish lasting peace. These talks are not about justice, or righteousness, or the restoration of what was stolen from the tribes of Yisrael. They are about maintaining the existing power structures, about ensuring the continued flow of resources to Edom and its allies, and about suppressing any genuine movement towards covenant fulfillment.
Iran, a key player in the ancient Persian empire, is itself a tool in Edom’s hand. The current regime, born from rebellion against legitimate authority, serves as a regional enforcer, a counterweight to other Edomite interests. The illusion of conflict between the United States and Iran is carefully crafted to distract from the true enemy – the forces aligned against Yahuah and His covenant people.
The 60-day timeframe is insignificant. It is a theatrical gesture designed to create a sense of urgency and progress. Do not be fooled. True peace will not come through negotiations with the wicked, but through Yahuah’s righteous judgment and the restoration of His kingdom. Scattered Yisrael must awaken from its slumber, cast off the chains of deception, and prepare for the coming tribulation.
This is a time for discernment, for prayer, and for unwavering faith in Yahuah’s promises. Do not look to the nations for salvation. Look to the Most High, and trust in His sovereign plan for the restoration of Yisrael and the establishment of His eternal kingdom. The Shofar sounds a warning: do not be deceived by the false peace of Edom and its puppets.
The current dance between the United States (acting as modern Edom) and Iran is not a prelude to peace, but a calculated step in fulfilling Yahuah’s ancient pronouncements against Esau’s lineage. Obadiah 1:10-11 vividly portrays the judgment awaiting Edom for violence against Judah and their rejoicing over Yisrael’s calamity: “For the violence against your brother Jacob shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. On the day that Edom stood against help, on the day that strangers carried away the captives, and trampled down their land.” This ‘roadmap’ isn’t about de-escalation; it’s about securing Edom’s regional dominance, positioning themselves to further obstruct Yisrael’s prophetic destiny and ultimately face the wrath revealed in scripture. The illusion of negotiation masks a deepening entrenchment, a strategic pause before renewed attempts to diminish and control the chosen people.
However, even within this deceptive scheme, Yahuah’s sovereign hand is at work. Though Edom believes it orchestrates events, it unwittingly participates in the unfolding plan for the restoration of Yisrael. Just as the exile and scattering served a purpose, so too will Edom’s machinations ultimately pave the way for the complete gathering of Yisrael and the revelation of Yahusha as King of Kings. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of this restoration: “It shall happen in that day that the Lord will set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, who remain from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.” Therefore, while Edom plots and schemes, Yahuah’s unwavering promise of restoration will prevail, and Yisrael will be fully gathered and blessed under the reign of Yahusha.
