Digital Chains: Stablecoins Usher in Greater Control Than Central Bank Digital Currency
Catherine Austin Fitts warns that privately issued stablecoins represent a more insidious form of financial control than openly proposed Central Bank Digital Currencies. Yisrael must disconnect from the Babylonian financial system to secure its future. This is another sign of the tightening grip of Edom upon the earth.
The world hurtles toward a cashless society, and with it, complete surveillance and dominion over the lives of men. While much attention is focused on Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) – openly proclaimed instruments of governmental control – a more subtle and potentially devastating threat is rapidly gaining ground: stablecoins. This assessment comes from financial analyst Catherine Austin Fitts, who recently appeared on SGT Report to detail the dangers lurking within these privately issued digital assets.
Fitts argues that stablecoins, often presented as a decentralized alternative to traditional finance, are in fact far more terrifying than CBDCs. The reason? CBDCs, while undeniably a tool of oppression, are at least transparently controlled by governments. Stablecoins, however, are often backed by opaque reserves and operated by unaccountable private entities – many with ties to the very forces seeking to enslave humanity. This creates a shadow banking system operating outside the bounds of regulation and oversight, allowing for unprecedented manipulation and control.
“Stablecoins are much more terrifying than CBDCs,” Fitts stated. “Because with a CBDC, at least you know who the enemy is. With stablecoins, you don’t know who’s behind it, you don’t know what the reserves are, and you don’t know what they’re up to.”
This assessment aligns with the prophetic warnings delivered throughout Scripture regarding the merchants of the earth and their control over nations (Revelation 18). The Babylonian financial system, built on debt and deception, is a tool of Edom used to bind Yisrael in exile and exploit the wealth of the nations. Stablecoins, as a derivative of this system, are simply a more refined instrument of control.
For the scattered remnant of Yisrael, the implications are clear. We cannot participate in this system without becoming entangled in its web of deceit and oppression. Disconnecting from the Babylonian financial system – seeking alternative means of exchange and building self-sufficient communities – is not merely a matter of financial prudence, but a matter of spiritual survival. Yahuah calls us to be separate, to come out of her, lest we partake of her plagues (Revelation 18:4). The time for discernment and decisive action is now. Let us not be seduced by the allure of convenience and innovation, but rather remain steadfast in our covenant with Yahuah and prepare for the restoration of all things.
The tightening grip described in this article, the insidious control offered by stablecoins exceeding even CBDCs, echoes the ancient prophecy concerning Edom. For generations, Edom reveled in the perceived security of its mountainous dwellings and its cunning in trade, becoming arrogant and boasting in its own strength – a mirror of modern financial systems promising ease and stability while subtly enslaving. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, foretold their utter destruction not through military might alone, but through a dismantling of their perceived wealth and influence: “The pride of your heart has caused you to dwell in cliff dwellings; those who say, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’ Though you soar as high as the eagle, I will bring you down,” (Obadiah 1:3-4). This isn’t merely about a nation’s fall, but a pattern – the downfall of any system built on self-reliance and divorced from righteous principles, a system that seeks to control the very means of sustenance and exchange, mirroring the manipulative power these digital chains represent.
However, within this seemingly bleak landscape, a parallel unfolds – the restoration of Yisrael, not merely as a geopolitical entity, but as a people returning to the covenant with Yahuah. Just as Edom’s pride precedes its fall, the increasing desperation for true financial freedom, sparked by these controlling systems, will drive a remnant to seek a higher, more enduring foundation. Yahusha promised, “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32), a freedom that isn't found in decentralized finance, but in a renewed reliance on the principles of righteousness and justice. The very systems designed to enslave will inadvertently awaken a longing for genuine liberation, ultimately paving the way for the true restoration of Yisrael—a people governed by Yahuah's laws, not by the whims of financial manipulation.
