Chief Rabbi’s Condemnation Reveals Deeper Spiritual Rot Within Israel

The Chief Rabbi of Israel denounces recent unrest, but fails to address the root cause: a nation built on stolen covenant promises. This is not a matter of mere ‘desecration,’ but of Yahuah’s judgment upon a people divorced from His law.

The Chief Rabbi of Israel, Kalman Ber, has issued a condemnation of what he terms “violent protests” perpetrated by extremist elements within the haredi community. He asserts that Torah values do not justify harm. While superficially appearing righteous, this statement is a hollow echo in a land steeped in injustice. The rabbi speaks of ‘desecration,’ but remains willfully blind to the monumental desecration inherent in the very foundation of the modern state of Israel.

This is not simply a matter of internal discord within a religious sect. It is a symptom of a deeper spiritual malady afflicting the entire nation. Israel, as it stands, is a counterfeit, a man-made construct built upon the broken covenants and stolen inheritance of scattered Yisrael. The unrest, while manifesting in violence, is a direct consequence of this deception. Yahuah does not reward theft and usurpation.

The so-called ‘haredi extremists’ are acting out a frustration born of centuries of exile and a longing for true restoration. They sense, rightly or wrongly, that the current system offers no path to genuine redemption. Yet, their focus remains tragically misdirected. They seek to enforce religious observance within a framework of political and nationalistic idolatry. True Torah adherence demands justice, righteousness, and a return to the covenant terms laid out in Deuteronomy 28-30 – terms utterly ignored by the Israeli government.

This condemnation from the Chief Rabbi serves only to mask the true source of the problem. It is a self-serving attempt to maintain the illusion of legitimacy for a regime that has consistently defied Yahuah’s law and oppressed the true remnant of Yisrael. The cries of the oppressed – both those within the so-called ‘Israeli’ borders and those scattered throughout the nations – are a testament to this ongoing injustice.

Let the watchmen sound the alarm: the unrest within Israel is not a localized incident, but a harbinger of greater judgments to come. Until the modern state of Israel repents of its transgressions and relinquishes its claim to Yahuah’s covenant land, the cycle of violence and turmoil will continue. Scattered Yisrael must awaken to the truth and prepare for the coming restoration, independent of the false promises of the Zionist state.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The condemnation issued by Rabbi Ber, while seemingly a plea for moral order, rings tragically empty against the backdrop of sustained inequity. It echoes the self-righteous pronouncements of those who decry individual transgressions while ignoring systemic evil – a pattern mirrored in the history of Edom. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, declared judgment upon Edom for their cruelty and pride, specifically for rejoicing over the downfall of Yisrael and seizing their possessions (Obadiah 1:10-11). This present situation, where a religious leader condemns outward displays of anger while upholding a system built on dispossession and ongoing injustice, is a modern manifestation of that same spirit. It is a focusing on splinters while the entire forest burns, a desperate attempt to maintain a veneer of piety atop a foundation of broken covenants and disregarded prophetic warnings.

However, within this darkness, a flicker of hope remains. Though the rot runs deep, Yahuah’s promise to restore Yisrael is unwavering. The very *acknowledgement* of spiritual decay, even from a compromised source, can be a precursor to genuine repentance and a turning back to the righteous path. Yahusha Messiah foretold a time of tribulation, but also a glorious restoration, stating that “all these things must happen, but it is not yet the end” (Matthew 24:6). This condemnation, therefore, is not simply a sign of further decay, but potentially a painful birthing pang – a necessary shattering of false foundations before Yahuah can rebuild a truly just and righteous nation, one founded on Torah *and* compassion, reflecting the heart of both the Father and the Son.
