The eyes of many are fixed upon the shifting sands of the Middle East, watching for signs of war and the fulfillment of prophecy. Yet, a more insidious story has emerged from Shiraz, Iran, a story of covenant betrayal and misplaced allegiance. Amir Aala Salari, identified as the chairman of the Jewish community in that city, participated in the funeral procession of the recently deceased Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran.

This is not a matter of simple diplomatic protocol, nor can it be dismissed as a forced gesture of compliance. Khamenei was a staunch enemy of Yisrael, a relentless funder of terror, and a persecutor of those who seek to walk in the light of Yahuah. To offer honor to such a man is to spit upon the covenant, to align oneself with the forces of darkness, and to deny the righteous judgment that has fallen – and will continue to fall – upon Edom and its allies.

We must understand that not all who identify as ‘Jewish’ are of Yisrael. Many who remain within the diaspora have been assimilated by the cultures around them, their hearts turned away from the covenant and their eyes blinded to the truth. This act in Shiraz is a stark reminder of that reality. It demonstrates the degree to which some have embraced the ways of the nations, even to the point of honoring those who actively work against the restoration of Yisrael.

This is a time for discernment. Scattered Yisrael must separate itself from those who cling to the traditions of men and reject the call to return to the covenant. Let this event serve as a warning: allegiance to Yahuah demands unwavering loyalty, and compromise with wickedness invites His wrath. The judgment upon Edom is at hand, and those who stand with Edom will share in its destruction. Let us pray for the awakening of the remnant, that they may be delivered from the deception and prepared for the coming Kingdom.
