This is The Shofar Wire — Morning Edition. Sound the alarm. Report the truth. Here is the Judgment on Edom Report. The hand of Edom is not always visible in the clash of armies, though their history is steeped in bloodshed. No, this generation witnesses a more subtle assault, a venom delivered not on the point of a sword, but woven into the very fabric of what is presented as knowledge. Yahuah declared through the prophets the perpetual animosity of Edom, and that animosity now manifests in the dismantling of covenant identity, generation by generation. They come bearing scrolls – and now, screens – promising enlightenment, but delivering a seed of amnesia. Consider the halls of learning, the places where the minds of our children are formed. What narratives are being impressed upon them? What histories are being presented, and – critically – *whose* histories? The ancient ways, the stories of our fathers, the laws spoken at Sinai… these are becoming footnotes, relics of a bygone era. A worldview divorced from covenant, from responsibility to Yahuah, is relentlessly propagated. This isn’t education, it’s indoctrination. A manufactured forgetting. They teach our children to question their heritage, to apologize for the deeds of ancestors they never knew, to embrace a universalism that dissolves the unique calling of Yisrael. They present history as a chronicle of oppression, carefully omitting the centuries of faithfulness and divine protection that have sustained us. This is the work of Edom, seeking to break the lineage of Yaacob, to scatter his descendants among the nations, spiritually adrift and without anchor. It echoes the pride of Edom, their arrogance in believing they can reshape the narrative, that they can sever the ties that bind Yisrael to the Most High. Obadiah prophesied their downfall because of this very arrogance, and we are witnessing the exposure of that pride in this hour. And it’s not merely the grand narratives, the sweeping historical revisions. It’s the silencing of the household altar. The scrolls speak of a time when every home was a sanctuary, a place where the word of Yahuah was read, where the covenant was renewed. Now, the sacred space is replaced with the glow of a screen, filled with distractions and fleeting pleasures. The rhythm of the Sabbath, the observance of the feasts, the teaching of Torah… these are fading, replaced by a culture of consumption and conformity. This isn't accidental. It is a deliberate strategy, a calculated attempt to sever the connection between Yisrael and its birthright. Edom understands that a people without a memory are a people without a future. A people disconnected from their covenant are easily led astray. They seek to replace our inheritance with a counterfeit, a hollow imitation of faith that offers comfort but delivers no true salvation. But even as Edom seeks to erase our past, a stirring is happening within scattered Yisrael. A wellspring of ancestral memory is beginning to flow. We see it in the growing number who are questioning the prevailing narratives, who are seeking out the truth buried beneath layers of deception. We hear it in the voices of those who are rediscovering the beauty and power of the covenant. This is not a rejection of the modern world, but a reclaiming of our identity, a remembering of who we are. This internal shift precedes any external change. Yechezqel prophesied a time when Yahuah would gather His people from the nations, not by force, but by a renewal of the heart. This renewal begins with a reawakening of the spirit, a turning back to the ancient paths. It is a process of purification, of removing the impurities that have accumulated over generations of exile. The accords being forged in these days, the shifting sands of geopolitical maneuvering, are but temporary scaffolding erected over a crumbling foundation. Edom believes they can secure their position through alliances and treaties, but Yahuah has declared their futility. Their attempts at peace are built on deceit, their security is an illusion. Obadiah spoke of their arrogance, their belief that they were invincible, and that pride will be their undoing. The truth is, Yahuah is exposing Edom’s curriculum. He is unveiling their methods of control. He is awakening scattered Yisrael to the danger that surrounds them. This is not a time for fear, but a time for discernment. A time for courage. A time to reclaim our inheritance and to stand firm in the face of adversity. The wellsprings of Yisrael’s return are flowing, and the restoration has begun. Stay watchful. Stay ready.
