This is The Shofar Wire — Morning Edition. Sound the alarm. Report the truth. Here is the Judgment on Edom Report.
The weight of prophecy presses upon us, Yisrael. The day of Yahuah draws near, and with it, the unmasking of Edom. For generations, this lineage of cunning has woven itself into the fabric of nations, a spirit of opposition disguised as civilization. They’ve built their empires on the backs of scattered Yisrael, and now, in this generation, their deception is unraveling.
Listen closely. The din is increasing. A constant, overwhelming noise designed not to inform, but to *deafen*. The media, the entertainment, the constant stream of information – it’s not a neutral landscape. It *is* the voice of Edom, amplified, projected, a sophisticated propaganda machine built on pride and fueled by cruelty. Obadiah spoke of a judgment upon Edom for her arrogance, for her heart lifted up in disdain. This is not a story confined to ancient texts. It is a present reality.
Their descendants are amongst us, not solely as a people tied to a specific land, but as a spirit. A spirit of deceit, a spirit of relentless opposition to the covenant people of Yahuah. They do not seek our flourishing, but our assimilation. Not our elevation, but our subjugation. They whisper promises of inclusion, but deliver only chains.
Look around. What dominates the screens, what fills the airwaves? A relentless barrage of narratives, carefully crafted to dismantle your values, to erode your identity, to rewrite your history. These aren’t accidental byproducts of a ‘free market.’ They are deliberate constructions, meticulously engineered to serve Edom’s purposes. They tell you what to think, how to feel, what to believe – all while subtly undermining the very foundations of Torah. They offer fleeting pleasures, empty promises, seductive illusions. They convince you that happiness lies in consumption, that validation comes from external approval.
This is Babylon’s refrain, echoing through the ages. But Yisrael, scattered across the nations, is awakening. We are beginning to discern the patterns, to recognize the voice of the deceiver. We are remembering the covenant, reclaiming our heritage, and rejecting the mark of Edom.
And this rejection isn't simply a matter of belief. It is extending into the realm of economics, a separation taking root in the very foundations of our lives. There's a stirring, a desire for financial independence, a yearning to break free from the Babylonian system. We see it in the growing interest in ancient measures of value, in the re-examination of the shekel as a potential foundation for a restored covenant economy.
This isn’t nostalgia, Yisrael. It’s a reclaiming of sovereignty. It's a conscious rejection of the control Edom exerts through its financial networks. Yechezqel prophesied a time when Yisrael would be cleansed from their impurities, when they would cast off the detestable practices imposed upon them. This financial separation is a part of that cleansing, a severing of the ties that bind us to a corrupt system.
Consider this: Babylon’s strength lies in its ability to control the flow of resources, to dictate the terms of trade, to bind nations to its debt. But what happens when Yisrael, scattered Yisrael, begins to build an alternative? What happens when we establish economic systems rooted in justice, in integrity, in the principles of Torah? The foundations of Babylon begin to tremble.
This is why Edom intensifies its efforts to control the narrative, to maintain its grip on the levers of power. The more we awaken, the more desperate they become. They double down on their propaganda, their distractions, their illusions. They build echo chambers, reinforcing their own beliefs and demonizing those who dare to question their authority.
Yeshayahu spoke of Edom’s isolation, of their pride blinding them to the truth. They surround themselves with those who echo their sentiments, creating a self-reinforcing cycle of delusion. They cannot see the judgment that is upon them, because they are too busy congratulating themselves on their perceived superiority. But the day of Yahuah is coming, and it will expose their lies for all the world to see.
This isn’t a call to arms, but a call to discernment. A call to separate ourselves from the pollution of Edom, to reclaim our identity as Yisrael, to build a future rooted in the covenant of Yahuah. The watchman watches, observing the signs of the times, recognizing the patterns of prophecy unfolding before our eyes. The winds are shifting, Yisrael. The foundations are cracking. The day of judgment is at hand.
