This is The Shofar Wire — Morning Edition. Sound the alarm. Report the truth. Here is the Judgment on Edom Report.
The groaning of the earth intensifies. Not merely geological upheaval, but a deep, resonant ache mirroring the affliction upon Yisrael. We watch, as the prophets foretold, for this stirring—a prelude to both judgment and the awakening of scattered Yisrael. And within this distress, a pattern emerges, a serpent coiling around the lifeblood of the nations, a plague not of pestilence, but of deception.
Hear this, O Yisrael. The hand of Edom is revealed, not in the clash of armies or the drawing of borders, but in a more subtle, insidious dominion. A control exerted through the very systems meant to preserve life, a twisting of healing into a means of subjugation.
For generations, we have been warned of Babylon, that great harlot, and its sorceries. Not illusions, but potent forces unleashed against the covenant people. Consider what stands before us today: a global system promising wellness, yet delivering dependence. A system profiting from sickness, rather than eradicating it. Yahuah spoke through Yirmiyahu, revealing Babylon as a golden cup in His hand, the glory of His inheritance. But that cup has become a vessel of poison, corrupted by the spirit of Edom.
Look closely at the symbols. The caduceus—a staff entwined with serpents—is ubiquitous. It adorns the emblems of this very system, this modern manifestation of Babylon’s enchantments. But this is not the staff of Moses, the rod of Yahuah that brought forth water from the rock and parted the Red Sea. That staff represented divine power, a direct conduit of Yahuah’s will. This…this speaks of a different power, a power rooted in pagan lore, in the whispers of ancient gods.
The serpent, of course, is no accident. Yirmiyahu 49 speaks plainly of Edom’s deception, of a plague upon Yisrael born from its twisted counsel. This isn’t simply historical animosity; it’s a prophetic echo resonating in our time. The serpent is a symbol of ancient animosity, of a lineage determined to undermine the covenant, to poison the wellspring of life.
They offer solutions, these purveyors of the serpent’s emblem. They promise safety, security, a shield against the unseen. But what are they shielding us *from*? And at what cost? The true enemy isn’t a virus, or a bacterium, but the spirit that animates this system—the spirit of Edom, the spirit of rebellion against Yahuah’s order.
This isn’t to dismiss the suffering of those afflicted. Every tear shed, every life lost, is a weight upon our hearts. But we must discern the source of that suffering, to see the hand of Edom at work, manipulating fear, controlling narratives, and profiting from the vulnerability of humanity.
The earth groans, and Yisrael stirs. The awakening is happening, a growing number recognizing the patterns, the deceptions, the subtle ways in which Edom seeks to maintain its dominion. This is the promise of Yeshayahu 27—that in the days to come, Yisrael will be restored, a cultivated garden tended by Yahuah Himself, even amidst tribulation.
But restoration requires discernment. It requires a rejection of the false promises of Babylon, a turning back to the covenant, a recognition of Yahuah as the ultimate healer, the source of all true life. The serpent offers knowledge, but it is a knowledge that leads to death. Yahuah offers wisdom, a path to life everlasting.
We are witnessing the unraveling of a system built on deception. The exposure of Edom’s machinations. The bitterness of the harvest is upon us, but within that bitterness lies the seed of renewal. Let us be vigilant, let us be discerning, and let us stand firm in the truth of Yahuah’s word. The day is coming when the serpent will be crushed, and Yisrael will be free.
