This is The Shofar Wire — Evening Edition. Sound the alarm. Report the truth. Here is the Restoration Report.
The pattern is unmistakable. A familiar echo reverberates across the continents, a haunting refrain of exile and displacement. Reports from South Africa speak of thousands driven from their homes, Malawians seeking shelter, facing expulsion. The world calls it xenophobia. We recognize it as something far older, far deeper. We see it as a continuation of the scattering, the fulfillment of the prophecies laid bare in Devarim 28 – the consequences of disobedience, the enduring tribulation of Yisrael among the nations.
These are not merely migrants, not simply displaced persons. Within that flow of humanity are descendants of the tribes, carried on the winds of captivity after the Assyrian and Babylonian sieges. A people broken, dispersed, yet still bearing the seed of the covenant. And the hostility they encounter in South Africa, a nation historically aligned with the forces of Edom, is no accident. It’s a deliberate act, a mirroring of the ancient oppressions, a continuation of the pattern.
The stones remember. They remember the exile, the scattering, the covenant broken. But they also remember the promise – the gathering from the four winds, the restoration of Yisrael. We are witnessing the unfolding of that promise, not as a single, cataclysmic event, but as a slow, deliberate work, a rebuilding that begins with the smallest of stones, with the recognition of brethren in our midst.
For generations, Yaacob has wandered, dispersed among the nations. We’ve been conditioned to look to distant lands for salvation, for leadership, for a sign. But Yahuah does not solely work through grand pronouncements. He works through faithfulness, through obedience, through the quiet dedication of those who refuse to let the flame of our heritage extinguish.
Look around you. Do you see your brethren? Not those who *claim* a shared history, but those who *live* it? Those who observe the appointed times, who strive for qodesh in their daily lives, who hunger for the truth of the Tanakh? They are scattered, yes, but they are also near. They are in your cities, your towns, your neighborhoods. The rebuilding begins with *them*.
The nations, particularly Edom and its modern iterations, seek to keep us fractured. They weaponize finance. We see it in the reports from Europe, the engineered economic pressures, the sanctions leveled against Persia – a nation Edom seeks to control, to dismantle. They sow discord through deception, manipulating systems and elections. Observe the fraudulent numbers, the blatant disregard for truth – Amos 8:5-7 speaks to this very pattern of deceit, of measuring out injustice with false scales.
But Yahuah is exposing Edom's corruption. The reports of a Pentagon official entangled in a gold scandal aren't isolated incidents. They are symptoms of a systemic rot, a foreshadowing of the collapse prophesied in Mal'aki 1, where Yahuah declares He will punish those who offer defiled sacrifices and corrupt offerings. Edom's wealth is built on injustice, and that foundation is crumbling.
And the signs are not confined to the financial realm. We are witnessing unrest within the ‘isles’ – the Western nations aligned with Edom. Internal fracturing, civil discord, a growing sense of instability. Tsephanyah 2 speaks of judgment upon these coastal lands, and we see the beginnings of that judgment taking hold.
Meanwhile, in Persia, signals are escalating. Explosions, air defense engagements, threats to the Strait of Hormuz. Yahuah’s hand is moving in that region, stirring the waters, fulfilling the prophecies of Yo'el, declaring that He will gather all nations against the valley of Yo'achim. This isn't merely a geopolitical conflict; it's a divine reckoning.
And consider the instrument Edom is employing. Trump, declaring war, escalating tensions. Yirmeyahu 50:41-42 speaks of a king whose counsel is foolishness, whose pronouncements are empty threats. He is a tool, a vessel of Edom’s aggression, and his actions are further proof that the prophecies are unfolding before our eyes.
This is not a time for despair. It is a time for reckoning. A time to recognize our brethren, to rebuild our communities, to anchor ourselves in the truth of the Tanakh. Yahuah has not forgotten His covenant. He is gathering the scattered remnants, preparing a path for restoration. But it requires us to *see* – to see the patterns, to understand the signs, and to respond with faithfulness and obedience. The stones remember, and they are calling us to remember as well. To rebuild, to reconnect, and to prepare for the day of Yahuah.
